VIMM in partnership with Tremont Church of God in Greenville, SC will travel to Copán, Honduras to provide 4 days of medical mission clinics and help with a local construction project. El Paraiso, Copan is in Northwestern Honduras close to the Guatemalan border. The team will depart from Atlanta and travel to San Pedro Sula. Hosts, Dr. Francisco Cruz and Dr. Jonathon Cruz, and other Honduran medical personnel will join the VIMM team in providing care for those in need. The team will stay on campus of the second medical clinic built by VIMM in 1987 and travel daily to different villages to address the needs within the local communities. General medical and dental care will be provided as well as the dispensing of reading glasses. The construction project will provide a much-needed 2nd floor for a high school in the same community where the bridge was built in 2022. The evangelism portion of the trip will include church meetings, VBS for children, and other ministry opportunities.
On Friday, the team will have a day of rest and relaxation by visiting the Mayan Ruins and shopping on the way back to San Pedro Sula before departing on Saturday, June 1st.
